What are the requirements of TinyCMS

An apache server with a miniumum php 5.0 version. The mod_rewrite module enabled. Read/write/delete permissions. The magic_quotes setting turned off and ZipArchive support for the installer version. All these are very common on most of the current hosting providers

I cannot install tinycms using the installer because it’s saying that the mod_rewrite check has failed even though I am sure that mod_rewrite is enabled on my server. Can I skip this?

Yes you can. Please append &skipmod_rewrite to your instal.php url.
